Example 1: Multiple frame transition: Indoor football
Draft: Doors fly out
This transition uses a frame in frame method to make the switch between two video sequences. What makes this transition particularly interesting is the use of a natural frame created by the open door. Other than this notable feature, this transition follows a familiar built in transition readily available in digital mixing hardware. This transition plays an important role in establishing a setting, but also adds emphasis to the fact that this game of football (soccer) normally considered an outdoor sport is being played indoors.
The door that appears to sit in the middle of the court creates a startling Sci-fi kind of effect, which may prove too extreme for a more serious styled sports movie. Also the quick fly-away may be to startling, so instead I made an alternative version below that fades out the door.

Example 2: Multiple frame transition: ANZAC Dawn Parade, 25 April, Hamilton 2014
Final: (3 of 5)
The purpose of this video is to capture some of the atmosphere from the ANZAC Dawn Parade. This parade occurred on a foggy morning and all the colours seen in this video were the actual colours on this morning. The photos, sounds and music were also all recoded on the day so as to bring a level of authenticity. What has been distorted is the time element which was necessary in order to condense this event into 12 seconds.
